PGFI Membership

General PGFI membership is open to interested faculty at Penn and from other Philadelphia-area institutions. Potential members should contact Joyce Donnelly (joyced(at)upenn.edu) with an email of interest. Please be prepared to provide a brief summary on your research interests (max. 150 words) and a URL to your main lab or department homepage.

Why become a PGFI Member?

Benefits include:

  • leveraged genomic technologies for members’ research, including enhanced access and subsidies for selected services at Research Cores and other Core Facilities
  • eligibility to apply for pilot grant funding for innovative genomics projects
  • administrative support for cross-school collaborations
  • opportunities to participate in trans-disciplinary genomics networking and scholarly dialogue



Note that PGFI membership acceptance criteria and membership conditions and benefits may change as necessary and that PGFI membership is contingent on members having current faculty affiliation with Penn or with local research institutions.
