PGFI Excellence in Genome Science Award

PGFI is dedicated to strengthening the development of the genome sciences. The future of this discipline relies heavily on the current recruitment of young scholars.

To stimulate the enrollment of high quality doctoral students at Penn, PGFI offers an Excellence in Genome Science Award to select incoming graduate students. This award is used to recruit the highest caliber students who have expressed a desire to conduct research in genomics. The award will supplement the recipients' stipends by $2,500 per year for four years.
