PGFI Excellence in Genome Science Award
PGFI is dedicated to strengthening the development of genome sciences. The future of this discipline relies heavily on the current recruitment of young scholars. To stimulate interest and the enrollment of high quality doctoral students at PENN, PGFI is pleased to offer a PGFI Excellence in Genome Science Award to select incoming graduate students. This award will be used to entice top-choice students who have expressed a desire to conduct research in genomics.
The award will provide $2,500 per year for a time period of four years to incoming doctoral students who have specifically expressed interest in conducting genomics research. This award is intended to supplement the stipend of the graduate student.
